So… What is ASDA?
ASDA (American Student Dental Association) is a leading national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students.
ASDA represents close to 19,000 students from all the dental schools nationwide (including Puerto Rico).
The ASDA chapter at the University of Maryland is a part of District 3, which comprises of five dental schools in total: University of Pittsburgh, Temple University, University of Pennsylvania, Howard University and the University of Maryland.
We are one of the few schools which has an auto-enrolled ASDA membership, meaning a portion of your tuition has already paid for both your local and national ASDA dues.
and… what does this mean for University of Maryland dental students?
